Well it apears that the worst of the storm has passed. We came through mostly unscathed. There was a lot of wind and rain, in fact it is still raining. I also lost power for a little over 2 hours, but I had a lantern so I was prepared. Most importantly Starbucks was open through the whole thing. I haven’t been out yet so I don’t know much about the damage, but as you can see from the picture there are a few trees down. Well I have football to watch. Later.
A tree fell at Clint’s parents’ and took out a couple of light poles. We just have a bunch of twigs and small branches everywhere. We never lost power, though. My dad & stepmom live in Manvel and they’ve been without power since 6pm yesterday. Part of their fence is down, a tree, a limb, and their garage ceiling is leaking. What a mess!
